Proposals: what your client sees
Available on Starter plans and up.
When your client clicks Review & Accept Proposal (or your shared link), they land on a clean, professional document page — no account, no login, no friction.
The document
- Your header logo and business name at the top
- The proposal number and its Valid until date
- A "Prepared For" block with the client's name
- Your intro message, highlighted as a personal note
- The full line-item table with quantities, prices, and total
- Your Terms & Conditions
Your internal notes are never included.
Accepting — a typed e-signature
Below the document, the client sees Accept or Decline This Proposal:
"Type your full name below as your electronic signature to accept this proposal."
They type their full name and click Accept. Velosiq records the typed name, the date and time, and the signing IP address, then shows them a confirmation: "Proposal Accepted — Signed as {name}". On your side, the status flips to Accepted with the signature details on the proposal's timeline.
Declining
One click, no reason required. The proposal shows as Declined on your side, with the timestamp on the timeline — you'll know to follow up rather than wait.
Viewing is tracked
The instant the client opens the page, a Sent proposal becomes Viewed — so you always know whether silence means "hasn't looked yet" or "looked and is thinking."
After the decision
Once decided, the page shows a status banner instead of buttons — accepted proposals display who signed and when. The decision is final on the portal side; anything further happens in conversation with you.
