Set up your business profile and logos

Everything a client sees — invoices, proposals, the client portal — is branded with your business profile. Set it up once in Settings (the gear icon in your user menu).

Business Information

The Business Information card holds:

  • Company Name (required) — appears on invoices and as the sender name on emails to your clients.
  • CEO / Business Owner
  • Address — start typing in the address field and pick from the suggestions; street, city, state, and ZIP fill in automatically. You can also add a Suite / Unit.
  • Business Phone and Business Email — the contact details clients should use to reach you about an invoice or proposal.
  • License Number — your contractor or trade license, if you're required to display one.

Everything here appears in the company contact block on your invoices and proposals — in the PDF, in the emailed copy, and on the client portal. Leave a field blank and its line simply doesn't print.

Click Save Changes when you're done.

Your license prints exactly as you type it. Velosiq doesn't add a label or a # in front of it, because the required format varies by state and trade. If you need it to read Lic. #1043872 on the document, type it that way in the field.

Logos

Velosiq uses two logos, each in a different context:

Logo Shape Where it appears
Avatar logo Square Your user menu, and invoice templates that use a square mark
Header logo Wide The top of invoices, proposal documents, and your client portal header

To upload, click either logo area and pick a file. Requirements:

  • PNG, JPEG, WebP, or GIF
  • 5 MB maximum

Uploading a new file replaces the old one, and a Remove link appears once a logo is set.

Which logo does my invoice use? It depends on the template. Each design in Settings → Invoice Templates is labeled Square logo or Header logo so you know which upload it displays. See Invoice templates.

Payments and notifications

Two more cards live on the Settings page:

  • Payments — connect Stripe to accept card payments. See Connect Stripe.
  • Notification Preferences — choose which invoice statuses and warranty windows create in-app notifications. See Notifications.
