Stripe checkout for invoices

Requires a connected Stripe account. Available on every plan.

Pay with Stripe on the invoice page opens a secure, Stripe-hosted checkout for that invoice — the same trusted payment experience used across the internet, itemized with your invoice's line items.

How it works

1. Open any unpaid invoice.
2. Click Pay with Stripe.
3. Stripe's checkout page opens, listing the invoice's line items and total.
4. The card payment goes straight to your connected Stripe account.

The payment records itself

When a checkout completes, Velosiq automatically:

• Records the payment on the invoice (method: Stripe, reference: Stripe Checkout)
• Updates the invoice status to Paid
• Writes the payment to the activity log
• Sends you an in-app notification (if you have Paid notifications on — they're on by default)

No manual bookkeeping — the invoice takes care of itself.

Good to know

• The button appears only while the invoice is unpaid; once paid, it disappears.
• If you haven't connected Stripe yet, the invoice page shows a pointer to Settings → Payments instead of the button.
• Amounts are in USD, and Stripe's standard processing fees apply — Velosiq adds nothing on top.
