Revenue and receivables reports

The Revenue tab

On every plan:

  • KPI cards — Total Revenue (all-time cash collected), Revenue This Month, Total Clients, and Outstanding A/R (with a jump to the aging report)
  • Invoice status counts — how many invoices sit in each status right now
  • Recent invoices — your latest five

On Professional and Business (cash-basis, like everything here):

  • Revenue Over Time — a 12-month trend line of collections
  • Revenue by Client — a doughnut of your top five clients, remainder grouped as "Other"
  • Top Products / Services — your ten best sellers by units and revenue, from line items on fully paid invoices

The Receivables tab — who owes you what

Available on every plan, this is the report to open every Monday morning. It covers all unpaid invoices (sent, overdue, or partial) and ages each remaining balance by days past its due date:

Bucket Meaning
Current / Not Yet Due Not yet at the due date (or no due date set)
1–30 days Recently overdue — a friendly nudge territory
31–60 days Needs a call
61–90 days Needs attention now
90+ days At risk — every week of age makes collection less likely

What you get:

  • KPI cards — Total Outstanding, Not Yet Due, 1–60 Days Overdue, and 60+ Days Overdue (highlighted red when nonzero)
  • An aging bar chart of the buckets
  • Outstanding Invoices — every unpaid invoice sorted worst-first: due date, days overdue, total, paid so far, balance. Each row links to the invoice so you can act immediately.
  • Outstanding by Client — the same debt rolled up per client, with each client's oldest overdue age

Making receivables shrink

  1. Set due dates on every invoice — aging needs a date to age from
  2. Turn on automatic payment reminders — the polite nudge happens without you
  3. Mark stale invoices Overdue so they surface on your dashboard
  4. Work the 61+ buckets personally — those need a human
